Adam has been with WHAY since August 1996, when he arrived at the station's door begging for a chance to get into radio...seriously...it is amazing what the words "will work for free" will do. Beginning as a volunteer for the station, then working up to part time staffer  and eventually, in July 1997, full time, Adam has held, and currently holds, a number of positions at HAY-98. Among them are program, music, and news director, as well as being traffic director(scheduling commercials), and being the station's webmaster(no wonder he gets his own page on the website).

Adam loves all music, especially Americana, good classic country, blues, and bluegrass...not to mention a little classic rock now and then(no rap please!!!!). He also enjoys following the latest news and world events, and is somewhat of a "political junkie."

Some of Adam's favorite musical artists include Guy Clark, John Hiatt, James McMurtry, Lucinda Williams...well, you know, the Americana standards. He also likes dabbling in website design, having designed and currently maintaining a number of websites, including www.kyvacations.com www.mccrearycounty.com and of course www.hay98.com.
